My future

At the moment I can't really see my future, a year ago I was sure that I wanted to study photography, study in London and working in something related with the cinema. Also a few months ago I changed my mind and I decided to study criminiology but now I'm gping crazy because I love art so bad but also criminology. Honestly this is the first in all my life when I have NO IDEA about my future, I think I should just let things go and stop overthinking everything.

Future

If you could see the future, would you ?

- No, if I can't change it, then no. I believe is better to live a life full of unexpected things otherwise itid be boring.
It's like a movie, there's no point to watch it if you already know what's going to happend.

Sci-fi Movie

I think that the best sci-fi movie is star wars because of the content, also the effects are good, because of the year it was made. And we can know is a good mpvie because it still very popular.

The 150 Things the World's Smartest People Are Afraid Of

A scarcity of water resources. –Giulio Boccaletti, physicist

I think this is one of the most important and obvious, is water lacks it will have loads of consequences. For instance it will be wars for water, people will be dying because (obviously) we need water to live, not only humanity will be affected also animals and the whole world.

That we worry too much. –Robert Provine, neuroscientist

This one makes me think about our future generations, years ago people used to live without worries, or just with less worries than today. I believe that in a future people will be really stressed for even the little things... Everything affects, society, technology, the problems with the environment, pressure, etc. This is a problem that already affects us, a clearly example is teenagers. Now, you can see families in a restaurant and half of them are in their cellphones

That we will be unable to live without the internet. –Daniel C. Dennet, philosopher

This is a problem that already affects us, a clearly example is teenagers. Now, you can see families in a restaurant and half of them are in their cellphones. Internet was created to make our lifes easier and to get us closer to the people who are far away, but it also makes us more distant from the ones we have close.

This is actually a hard question... I'm really excited about my future because everyday we are finding and learning more new things. I can't wait to see the new techniques medicine will have, maybe we'll have great technology but it also makes me feel kind of sad because society is becoming something I don't like a lot. People only live for what they see and what they can get, they don't open their minds to see more farther, they don't think anymore. We have everything solve with th

My superower...

I'd like to fly... Because I'm a person who really enjoy to have time for me, I like to take long walks by myself and find new places. So, if I could fly I'd go everywhere and have a new perspective of the things, also it's another way to feel free and have a break. Just imagine travel everywhere you want, flying over the beach in a sunset, or over a city in the night. Pff I just would love to fly ;)

What can we learn from superheroes and comics ?

I thin that we can learn a lot from comics and superheroes. Superheroes give you faith and they always try to keep that message of " we can make a difference".
When children read comics or see movies about superheroes, they have that hope and fantasy that good will always win and they become role models for the kids.
In my opinion, I love superheroes they are like a reflection of what we can do, we can help other too, we can do big things to change the world and have faith in people because we know that there are bad people in the world but there are also good ones. ( of course in comics are more fictional everything, but the message still )

History

You can't leave this house, it's too late when you realize that it's not safe anymore.
There's an antique house in the middle of New Orleans, it's better know as the ghost house, since the 80's all the families that have lived are were murdered in there.
It's 2016 and a new family has just moved in there. Taissa Holt a 17 years old girl who is kind of antisocial and depressed. Sarah her mom is a housekeeper and her dad Michael a psychologist.

They've been there for 1 week and everything it's quite boring till now...
Taissa is back from school, her dad is at work and her mom is cooking.
Taissa goes up stairs to her bedroom, but there's something unusual, there's a guy standing in front of her.

- Who are you ? And what are you doing in my room ? I'll call the police if you don't leave my house right now.

The guy turn around, he was so beautiful, with a pale face, deep brown eyes and blond hair.

- Don't be scare, My name is Evan and this is my house too.
- Are you high ? This is my home, my family and I moved here last week. - Taissa was nervous, but she looked calm.
- I used to live here before you, but now I'm dead... - Taissa stared at him and she started walking around the room. - Aren't you scared ? I'm telling you, I died here.
- That's bullshit ! I don't believe that things.
- I can prove it to you... -he walked around the room with her, he grab her waist - You are beautiful.
- Stay away from me or I'll scream, my mom is down stairs.
He looked at her the way every girl wants to be look.
- I've been watching you for one week, you are the sweetest girl, you are insecure but also you have a great personality. You are lost, you don't like this place but you are here for your parents.- Taissa was about to leave the room, when a hand grab her arm, turn her around and Evan kiss her. But in the moment they kissed, he disappeared.

Taissa was confused, and scare but she decided to be quite and go down stairs with her mom. The dinner was very uncomfortable and quite, Sarah talked a little about the house and Taissa just answered some questions about school.

Three hours later she came back to her room, one part of her was hopping everything were real and that he'll be in there again, but the other part was not sure about it.
When she opened the door, she found a black rose on her bed, the stereo was on with "Be your everything by Boys like girls" ( that was her favorite song ) and in a little board that was in the wall, he wrote: I'll be back.

Fictional Character

My favourite fictional character is Spencer Reid, from Criminal Minds.
Dr. Reid is a genius who graduated from a public high school at age twelve. He is a Supervisory Special Agent with the BAU, he is a psychological profiler.
He has an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, and can read 20,000 words per minute.
In his team of the FBI, he's the youngest but also the smartest.
I don't know someone who is like him or a little close to him, probably if I ever meet someone like Reid, I'd probably marry him.

Technological Advance

Internet: I think like everything in this world, this has advantages and disadvantages. I totally support this technological advance because now everything is faster and easier. Also the internet helps us to do researches, investigations and keep in touch with friends, family and people who are away from us. One good example, is this one, we upload our homework instead of giving it to you in pieces of paper (that most of time we always lost).

If you could live in community in the world....

I'd like to live in France or London, because I love the architecture in those places and there are interesting historical monuments. There’s a lot of cultural life and cosmopolitan, it’s almost impossible not to have a place to visit every day.
On the other hand, for some people the climate is bad because almost always is cold or overcast, but I loving it. The disadvantage is that they have a really high standard of living and because both are cities there’s traffic congestion very often.

Idiom

“Let the cat out of the bag”

MEANING:To reveal a secret.

HISTORY BEHIND IT: Market scamsters apparently attempted to replace pigs with cats; if the cat was let out of the bag, the gig was up. That’s related to why you don’t want to buy “a pig in a poke". You might not be getting the real item.

DIALOGUE:
- It was supposed to be a surprise party to Liam but now we have to change the plans.
- Why ? I think it's a good idea !
- It is, but Angela went and let the cat out of the bag.
- Oh, that's not good...

Challenge

I think the biggest challenge I've faced was 2 years ago, when I moved to Cozumel. I was new in the school and on the island. At the beginning everyone was nice to me, but after a while, the girls started to gossip about me and kind of bullied me, so I was nettled by them.
The things were getting worst, and I was too. I was (or at least, that's how I was feeling ) completely by myself, my friends were away from me.
I tried not to heed to the things they said, but still was a daunting challenge to me. It was my most vulnerable moment, new school, new people. new home. I thought I was totally down but in that moment I realize that I needed to prove them I was stronger than them.
At the end of the year one girl came to me, and she said that she was really contrite and was kind of jealous of me, but in my opinion is not justify for what they did to me. On the other hand I appreciated her apologizes.
For me that was my biggest challenge, because before that I was one of the most insecure and shy person in the world.

Same Love

"Same Love" It's a song by Maclemore, personally I LOVE this song, I recommend it to everyone because it talks about gay rights and homophobia. The lyrics are so strong and powerful, there's one specific part that says:

-Call each other faggots behind the keys of a message board
A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it.
Gay is synonymous with the lesser -

It's hard to believe but it's true, we use that language and the word "gay" as an offense, when actually it's just as normal as the word human.

There are different ways of loving people, there's nothing wrong about people of the same gender loving each other. Society has that contumacious behavior that sometimes rather see 2 men holding guns than holding hands, if people keep abhorring gays, we will never progress.

Quote

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. -Thomas A. Edison.

What I understand about this quote is that even if what you do doesn't work at the first time, you don't have to give up. Practice will make you better and you can always keep trying to be the best and succeed. I feel inspired with this quote because it's a way of never stop trying and don't feel disappointed when something doesn't work the way you expected it.
