If you could live in community in the world....

I'd like to live in France or London, because I love the architecture in those places and there are interesting historical monuments. There’s a lot of cultural life and cosmopolitan, it’s almost impossible not to have a place to visit every day.
On the other hand, for some people the climate is bad because almost always is cold or overcast, but I loving it. The disadvantage is that they have a really high standard of living and because both are cities there’s traffic congestion very often.

Idiom

“Let the cat out of the bag”

MEANING:To reveal a secret.

HISTORY BEHIND IT: Market scamsters apparently attempted to replace pigs with cats; if the cat was let out of the bag, the gig was up. That’s related to why you don’t want to buy “a pig in a poke". You might not be getting the real item.

DIALOGUE:
- It was supposed to be a surprise party to Liam but now we have to change the plans.
- Why ? I think it's a good idea !
- It is, but Angela went and let the cat out of the bag.
- Oh, that's not good...

Challenge

I think the biggest challenge I've faced was 2 years ago, when I moved to Cozumel. I was new in the school and on the island. At the beginning everyone was nice to me, but after a while, the girls started to gossip about me and kind of bullied me, so I was nettled by them.
The things were getting worst, and I was too. I was (or at least, that's how I was feeling ) completely by myself, my friends were away from me.
I tried not to heed to the things they said, but still was a daunting challenge to me. It was my most vulnerable moment, new school, new people. new home. I thought I was totally down but in that moment I realize that I needed to prove them I was stronger than them.
At the end of the year one girl came to me, and she said that she was really contrite and was kind of jealous of me, but in my opinion is not justify for what they did to me. On the other hand I appreciated her apologizes.
For me that was my biggest challenge, because before that I was one of the most insecure and shy person in the world.

“Love: a single word, a wispy thing, a word no bigger or longer than an edge. That's what it is: an edge; a razor. It draws up through the center of your life, cutting everything in two. Before and after. The rest of the world falls away on either side.”

"I was raised around a lot of artists, musicians, photographers, painters and people that were in theater. Just having the art-communal hippie experience as a child, there wasn't a clear line that was drawn. We celebrated creative experience and creative expression. We didn't try and curtail it and stunt any of that kind of growth."

Same Love

"Same Love" It's a song by Maclemore, personally I LOVE this song, I recommend it to everyone because it talks about gay rights and homophobia. The lyrics are so strong and powerful, there's one specific part that says:

-Call each other faggots behind the keys of a message board
A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it.
Gay is synonymous with the lesser -

It's hard to believe but it's true, we use that language and the word "gay" as an offense, when actually it's just as normal as the word human.

There are different ways of loving people, there's nothing wrong about people of the same gender loving each other. Society has that contumacious behavior that sometimes rather see 2 men holding guns than holding hands, if people keep abhorring gays, we will never progress.
